Parenting Support & Counseling

Parenting can bring enormous joy and connection, but it can also stir up our deepest fears, frustrations, and experiences from childhood. You may find yourself unsure how to respond to your child’s behavior, struggling to set boundaries, disagreeing with your partner about parenting, or worrying about your relationship with your child or teenager. At times, you may react in ways you never intended, leaving you feeling guilty, overwhelmed, or unsure how to do things differently.

Our work with parents offers a supportive space to better understand your child’s behavior, your own emotional responses, and the patterns that unfold between you. Rather than focusing solely on how to get your child to listen or behave differently, we help you explore the feelings, needs, and developmental challenges that may be influencing their behavior, while also recognizing what gets stirred up in you during difficult moments. As you develop greater awareness of these patterns, you can begin to respond with more intention, confidence, and compassion.

Together, we work to strengthen your connection with your child, establish clear and compassionate boundaries, navigate parenting differences, and develop practical tools for handling challenging moments. The goal isn’t to become a perfect parent, but to feel more grounded and confident in your role—able to hold boundaries while making room for big feelings, repair after difficult moments, and nurture a relationship where your child feels both loved and securely guided.
