Couples & Marriage Counseling

Most couples long for a relationship where they can be fully themselves—honest, vulnerable, and confident that they are seen and loved. Yet even when you deeply care for one another, you may find yourselves caught in recurring arguments, emotional distance, or misunderstandings that leave you both feeling alone. Couples therapy offers a supportive space to look beneath these struggles, understand what’s keeping you disconnected, and find your way back to each other.

The ways we protect ourselves in relationships often develop long before we meet our partners. Early attachment experiences and past wounds can shape how we respond when we feel hurt, afraid, or disconnected. One of you may reach for reassurance while the other pulls away, creating a cycle that leaves both of you feeling misunderstood. We help you recognize these patterns, explore the fears and longings beneath your reactions, and practice new ways of reaching for and responding to one another. This work combines deeper exploration of past experiences with attention to what’s happening between you in the present, alongside practical skills for communicating, navigating conflict, and repairing disconnection.

Whether you’re navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or longing for greater intimacy, our goal is to help you create a relationship where you both feel heard, valued, and emotionally safe—a place where you can let your guard down, feel deeply known and loved, and find comfort and joy in being together.
